Product attributes won't change page

Hi, I am trying to add attributes for my products. The attributes now spread over 4 pages in Admin, but when I select a page number it just reloads page 1. Any clues on what the issue is?

I saw somewhere that there was a fix for this... but can't remember the topic title or the contribution.

I know that I the standard product-attributes page within administration was very annoying having to fix or change attributes by reloading a single product value/option every time you want to delete or confirm a delete and reload again.

 

I installed the Ajax Attribute Manager 2.8.2 and it was simple to install

1. backup

2. uploaded 1 folder (admin/attributeManager containing the required sub-folders)

3. add 3 pieces of code on catalog/admin/categories.php

4. DONE

 

ADD/EDIT PRODUCTS and ADD/REMOVE ATTRIBUTES together directly from the ADD PRODUCT PAGE [it auto-refreshes so now your changes are instant!]

 

(i only need the Product-Attributes page to edit spelling errors and change the text - but now you can just delete bad entries and start new ones from there)

 

I placed the code where it was more convenient to me, at the top of my Product-editing page(below the header) instead of where it is placed via the instructions(was between my price and product description).

 

Conclusion - AJAX Attribute Manger should help eliminate your problem editing the Product-attributes (just run all your attribute inputs directly from the Product-edit page and it refreshes instantly to make the tedious job of adding, editing and removing attributes,values and options Quick,Easy,Painless.

P.S. I currently have 3 Product Options Pages, 23 Option Values Pages and finally 55 Product Attributes Pages

- AJAX is handling everything FINE, except my old values show up blank on the Admin side(but still normal on the Catalog side). This is ok because the orders are still correct and now I can go back to my old (product attribute) inputs and delete them so they may be corrected with the AJAX system at any time.

Thanks alot ryecandy, Ajax attribute manager is just about perfect for what I want to do.

 

1 last question - Is it easy to have the attributes display at the top of the item page so my customers can see the options without having to scroll down?
