minuteman1970 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 My live OSc shop has been running fine for 2+ years, on a Startlogic 'Prologic' Shared account. I think my luck is finally out, as my shop has been locking up since last week due to too many SQL queries. I took some steps to optimize the DB, but am looking for more of a long-term solution. I am considering going with a VPS, and will likely hosting companies due to my current level of frustration with Startlogic's poor level of service and attitude. As a secondary goal, I am looking to host several domains independently as opposed to simply pointing them to my main as I am doing now. I will also be experimenting with multiple OSc shops, as many as four or five simultaneously. In looking at the various VPS plans available, they differ greatly in the following: 1. Minimum RAM 2. Burst RAM 3. Type of control panel 4. Managed vs un-managed What do you folks recommend I look for, in terms of the above parameters? Thanks in advance. -Ray
