Fractal Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 Hi, I am fairly new to OSCommerce and have searched the forums for an easy way to delete all the products from the database, but with no luck. I uploaded about 1000 products using Easypopulate but forgot to put them in a category, so I need to remove them an re-upload. (deleting product by product using the admin panel will take forever) Can I use PHPmyAdmin for MySQL to do this? If yes, how? Or is there another easy way? Thank to anybody that can help me. -Fractal
miyake Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 I don't know which version of phpMyAdmin you are using but there is a "Empty" tab when you click in a table, just click that to empty the table. I don't know if you'll need to empty the other tables associated with products but that should do it.
Fractal Posted December 19, 2002 Author Posted December 19, 2002 Thanks very much for your help. That seemed to do the trick. I "emptied" the products table and the product description table only. I wasn't sure if I should empty the other so I left them for now. -Fractal
