JOHN' Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 To start with, first once i started to use my cpanel file manager, i by chance move the public_html and www folders to a different folder, which i later realised, found it and moved it back to it's own place, but because of this move now my web site is not working at all,i.e. if i type my web site ERROR 403 is coming out saying that i don't have access or whatsoever, i neither can access mywebsite/admin the same error...can someone please help with this if u got experience or at least gimme some clue.. your help much appreciated. thanks, JOHN

Guest Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 the public_html and www directories are one and the same, except the www is an easier for root to get things done. if you dont have them put back into the same place, it causes trouble. you will probably need hour hosts help unless you know how to do things and reset the permissions
