Coupons Module in Loaded Snapshot not working!

Hi!

 

I've downloaded the latest snapshot from Ian and installed Patches 4 and 5 and everything seems to be working fine, excpet the Discount Coupon module.

 

I can add coupons in the admin and when I redeem them on the order page it comes up with `Congratulations, you have redeemed a coupon worth $29.95 [Product-Category restrictions apply]' in a red bar on the top of the page!

 

Now when I checkout it isn't taking the coupon value off the total. I have tried both using the coupon just for the one item # I wanted to use it for, and also for the category - I tried using the percentage off as well as the $ amt - all four ways make no difference.

 

I've double checked the product ID's against the SQL database and they match. It even tells me I've got the discount and I can order everything in the store (only 4 items) and it still won't let me have it in the total.

 

Any ideas where I might look to find the source of the problem?

What sort orders do you have set for your order total modules.

Hi Ian:

 

My sort order for the order total was:

 

Disc Coupon: 9

Gift Vouch: 750

Ship: 799

Sub Total: 299

Tax: 499

Total: 999

 

I don't know if this was OK or not but I changed the Disc Coupon to: 800.

 

It then worked once and now it goes back to saying I have redeemed the coupon but it's not coming off my total. Is this because I'm using a dummy acct multiple times - even though the coupon is set to be used unlimited times?

 

Also, Does the `Include Shipping' = true in the Disc Coupons field in Order Total Sort mean that if it's 100% they also get shipping free, or is there a way to set this?

What's patches 4 and 5? I am having problems with my snapshot,.. it won't listen to me:( Maybe these patches will help? Where are they?

The patches are only for Ian's OSC Loaded v4 12/05/02 snap.

If you are using stock OSC from this site. Don't apply the patches.

I am using stock:( I installed a local pick up option for shipping, it installed easy, I can access it in admin, but it's not showing up in the check out:(
