impactflies Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I want to remove the default images from various pages linked to from the information box. I removed the images ok by simply removing the .gifs from the image folder but a call for the images must still remain as there is now a box with the same text and an image missing icon in it's place. How do I remove that as well? Thanks.
germ Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 It would be a whole lot easier to copy the existing osC image pixel_trans.gif into the image names you're trying to remove. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. impactflies Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008 It would be a whole lot easier to copy the existing osC image pixel_trans.gif into the image names you're trying to remove. That sounds like a solution. I have spent ages looking through the files but can't find the file to edit to change the image name from; table_background_specials.gif to pixel_trans.gif It's specifically the table_background images I want to remove/replace, all of them, are they all in the same file?
germ Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 You're "missing the drift".... Make a copy of pixel_trans.gif and call it table_background_specials.gif. Then make other copies of it, naming it the name of the image you're trying to remove. Savvy? ;) If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. impactflies Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008 You're "missing the drift".... Initially  but after posting I realised what you meant and did exactly that and of course it worked
