There will be no e-commerce whatsoever on the website - the idea of the download following registration is a way for the client to collect emails. First of all, how do I enable this? I see you can download products following a purchase, but being that there is no purchase to speak of here, how do I enable the download? The intended flow will work like this: Product catalog > Product details > Click to download file > Register for free > View download link and download file. Is this possible with os-commerce? To stay within osC's framework, creating a new payment class (free) would be the best option. Then redirecting the link 'Click to download file' to the page 'Register for free'. desiredin Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Downloads controller has a free download option. Has free shipping / free product so it skips teh payment method. Should be what you want. For my free downloads, I have mine set to leave it pending though as I want to manually activate their download to weed out garbage accounts.
