Onyxdragun Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I found this thread: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=285489 But I am not sure if it is what I am looking for. What am I looking for? I noticed that the default receipt that is emailed to the customer after purchase is rather, plain and unprofessional looking. Pretty much I am looking for an module that will create a PDF and send it to the customer. If there isn't one I would have to look at using one of my PDF classes and sending the osCommerce information to it and having it sent the attachment. Will osCommerce also send out emails with Attachements? If not i can use one of my email scripts to create the proper items to attach files to an email too. Just not looking to 'reinvent the wheel'. Guest Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 why not just liven up the email which is sent to the customer? Quote
Onyxdragun Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 I've always thought it would be better to send an invoice/receipt as an attachment than in the message of a body. PDF being usually universal across platforms and the ability to save it nicely into a folder on your desktop I thought might be beneficial to the end-user/client/customer etc. But I guess in the mean time I could just make the email look better.
