I want to put video on the website of the company I work for. I have uploaded video to YouTube. I have the embed video link. I think I paste it into my product description but where is that page? Is it the product_info.php page? Thank you in advance.

in osc admin --> Catalog --> New Product or Edit the product and you can paste the YouTube code in the description of your product.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Hi Alex

Thank you for responding to my post. I really appreciate it. I sort-of thought that is one way of doing it. Alternatively, do you know which PDF file I would put it in, if I was to go that route? Thank you in advance and have a great day.

Hi

Thank you for your response. I don't necessarily want to put the youtube embed code in my product description. If I wanted to put it somewhere at the bottom of the page of my website so as not to disrupt the flow of the webpage, which .php file would I put it in?

Thank you in advance. Sorry if my questions are ignorant but I'm new to this 'PHP' stuff but I appreciate any help you could give. Thanks again.

As answered in the other thread (not by me), it can go in column left, and or column right, and or index.php. It depend on on the bottom left, bottom middle, or bottom right.

If you want people to see it right away place it at the bottom of your index.php just under the last call for new products module.

That is a really good suggestion.
