Guest Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 Hi Have just been asked to look over a site I built using Oscommerce about 18 months ago - it is being updated by the owners of the shop, and until now they have had no problems. But in the last couple of days it has started displaying things in German instead of English - aside from the obvious problems with this being a UK site, this has also made it display the standard Oscommerce buttons and graphics instead of the custom designed ones. I've had a look through the admin area, and nothing I can see has been altered to change the language - English is still selected as 'default', and I have now deleted the other language options, but its still displaying in German! This is hopefully something straight-forward, but having not worked with Oscommerce in over a year I am fairly out of practice with troubleshooting it. Could anyone suggest anything? Guest Posted April 10, 2008 Share Posted April 10, 2008 sounds like somehow calling incorrect language files. i would backup the language files, then delete the german and spanish (if not being used at all). this way you can then troubleshoot what files are calling them up.
