ok

look i know this sounds silly

but im not totally sure how to install oscommerce,

i dont follow the readme file, can someone give me a step by step explanation of what to do

just do a search, you will find it, trust me!

 

go to www.oscdox.com and download the documents.

all info you need about oscommerce is there!

*Outlined in chalk everone looks the same*

 

Currently useing OSC 2.2 MS1

running on Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_jk/1.2.0 mod_perl/1.26 PHP/4.3.3 FrontPage/5.0.2 mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6b

Nothing silly about it ... I stared at the screen for awhile first time I wanted to do the install ...

 

I am bright as a whip offline ... and, at the time I first saw osC ... I had never tried to install, use php nor MySQL before.

 

Okay ... so I had to break down and call a friend of mine for a couple of the answers.

 

Who knew where it said something about localhost to actually type in localhost ... :shock:
