AKMATIC Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Hi Guys, I ran into a problem that I am hoping someone can shed some light on. When certain customers register, they receive double welcome emails and double sales confirmation emails. Any order status update, gets there in doubles. Only a very few customers get this, but I would like to resolve it and prevent spam from hitting my customer's inboxes. If someone can shed some light, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Tony

bpopelar Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 This is a long shot, but check the customer's email address in your database. If the customer listed two addresses, it might explain what you are seeing. I can't think of anything else that would explain this. Ben

Ben Thanks for the shot but not the issue with me, its a new site in draft mode and I'm using my own email and account as a test. I also am getting two orders send to the admin email as well. Any more thoughts??

JSR Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Double emails being sent out, can also occur if you use the contrib AOLyahoo fix.... This was the case with my shop.
