Gift Voucher/Gift Card

Hi,

 

I need to integrate a giftvoucher feature in my oscommerce application.

 

The gift voucher feature I need is - its same like a product. Admin can create this through the admin section. Customer can buy this and send this to their friends. The user can redeem this and get the discount. Is there any add on available for this. Please help me ASAP.

I am able to create a product as a gift card from the admin section and able to buy this gift card from the user section. But in the user side check out page its asking for a gift card code. But I don't know how to get this. Nowhere in the instruction is not showing how to get a gift card code. At present my problem is how to redeem my gift card by using the gift card code.

 

Looking for a solution ASAP.

From memory when you set up the GV in the admin you can give it one set code or a random code. When a customer orders the GV from your site the code will be emailed to them. You might have to do a test purchase to see if it works.

It allows the emailing of gift card #s, setting up permanent or temp discounts, etc. Very useful.

This is not providing the Gift certificate feature. Its only providing a coupon feature. I need this feature in my site. I need to create a Gift certificate as a product and customers will be able to buy this gift certificate and redeem this certificate. For eg. the admin can create a product in the admin section and created as a gift certificate price $200. So it will list in the customer section and users can buy this gift certifcate. User can buy this and send to his freinds or use his/her own purpose. So they can redeem this and get a $200 discount on their new purchase. Will this add on work this way? I had tried and its working only for coupons.
