I'm trying to figure out how to get the UPS XMX to calculate each box individually. We typically sell 4 woofers to a single customer. Each ships in it's own box and weighs 19lbs. However, OS Commerce adds this up to one package of 76lbs and calculates the UPS rate. This is not correct as the rate for 4 boxes individually is more than one large 76lb box. I have seen screen shots of the UPS XML calculating individually, but have yet to find where I can tell it to do this. Our packages are always shipped individually.

The instructions and code for it are in the upsxml package. The first one you need is dimensions.txt and then go on with the split_products_instructions.txt.
