Products Short Descriptions V1_04 & easy populate?

Hi

I have just added Products_Short_Descriptions_V1_04 contrib to my site. I now have two problems, I followed everything right (i think).

but First problem I have is the extra field product_info will not save a new value to the database or display it in product_info.php.

second problem:

Easy populate will not display the extra field. Is there any way of adding the extra field to easy populate?
