filmcell Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 Need bit of advise please. All my websites have been hacked buy turkish hackers grrrrrr. I have checked all my files and folders now to change to the correct permissions. eg 644 , 755 ,444 But i cant seem to change the "www" folder to 755 . it stays at 777 . Guest Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 My www folder is on the same level as the public_html folder and the permissions are 750 (both in the server root). The folders inside the public_html folder which is where my osC site is are 755 permissions (inlcuding the images folder) and files are 644. If ALL your sites got hacked and they are all on the same server then that is another issue which I will let someone with a lot more experience than me answer.
