PayPal WPP IPN failing

I'm using PayPal WPP 0.1.1 and everything had been working fine until yesterday. It's been months since I've made any changes to my site so I don't understand how I could have done anything to cause this. I keep receiving emails from PayPal now saying the server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN) sent to my site are failing. Some orders are going through fine, but other times my customers credit cards are failing and they keep re-entering their information and so they are getting mulitple charges. I've been trying to get help with this with PayPal, but I don't understand how to get the information they want me to send them which is the API request that my shopping cart sends to PayPal and the API response my shopping cart receives from PayPal. I don't know whether this information is stored in my files or in my virtual dedicated server somewhere. I did get the following information from my error log files:

Here is my last response from PayPal:

 

the issue may be caused by a mis-match between your fraud or risk filters in your PayPal account and that in your shopping cart configuration.

 

For example, if you have your fitters in your PayPal account to accept transactions if it fails AVS (Address Verification) and your oscomerrce configuration is setup differently, your shopping cart will display a reject message to the buyer based on the response it gets back from the AVS or CVV2, whiles the transaction will still go through within PayPal. (Because your filter is set to accept the transaction)

 

As such, you may turn off the AVS or CVV2 verification in your shopping cart so that it does not conflict with the settings in your PayPal account. Or configure your shopping cart to have the same settings like you have in your PayPal account.

 

 

What does the above response mean and how do I configure the AVS and CVV2 settings? If this isn't the problem, then what else could it be?

 

Somebody please help me out with this. I am new to all this and don't even know where to start looking to fix my problem.

Does anybody not know what to do about my problem? PayPal has been of no help at all and I'm still getting all these error message. I desperately need help please!

My website also isn't sending out any emails anymore for the orders that I do get. Does anybody not know what could be causing these problems?
