I have set up a tax zone, and per some other posts on the board, I clicked on the folder and added the state to the zone (Michigan in this case). However, sales tax is still not being calculated for Michigan orders. As per another post, I turned off the DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX variable, so that sales tax wasn't shown or calculated for other states. Could this be causing the problem? I appreciate any help I get. Thanks! John I am setting up a California store, and have the sales tax working. Are you sure that your products are set to be taxable? drgroove Posted December 20, 2002 Share Posted December 20, 2002 Hi, I'm a little fuzzy on the whole tax thing. I have a shop based in Indiana. I found in /catalog/application_top.php where you can set the tax percentage. however, where can i set where this is applicable? how will the shop know that tax is only to be charged in indiana?
