I had same or simular problem... Did you delete the mysql folder? If so that is your problem. I did that and it wouldn't let me creat a new one. Solution for me ... i had to call my webhost and after about 15 minutes of trying to get the mysql folder back with no luck we deceided to nuke the whole thing and start over :P Hope this helps

lem06 Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I say it would be your best bet since you didn't have the problem before. hey thats what you pay them for. my webhost said its no problem to reset but make sure you have all your files backed up.
faleyCT Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I initially had the same problem (but with a different host server). It turned out a piece of the information I entered was incorrect and had nothing to do with access permissions. it just couldn't find the exact info I entered. I had the database name right but it was something else I entered that was incomplete. I corrected it and everything was fine. I forget exactly what piece of information was incorrect but it had only asked for about three or four things, and one of them was wrong like leaving out part of a path or id or something.
