gillamb Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Has anyone had any experience advertising on Facebook. On the face of it (no pun intended!), the ability to target your ads by the age, location, sex and various other criteria seems very useful, but more expensive than google. Anyone have any experience with this?

Anyone have any experience with this? I am currently using facebook. I find it more cheaper than Google, what l did was target a specific area it is important to set your daily limit ( how much you are willing to pay for the day) Also to control spending more use the date option to start and end your ad. And yes it gives you all the options to target your market by age, location sex and other criteria however experiment with two criteria at a time less expense since the system is pay per click.
Guest Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I use Facebook advertising all the time. My customer base is all college kids at various universities throughout the nation. It is by far the best type of advertising that I have found.

Guest Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I did advertising on facebook and did the criteria's that I wanted and didn't have a great response at all. It definitely wasn't worth it and I wouldn't recommend it. You have a better chance of putting up a free ad in the market place as you'll get way more responses.
