I'm getting the following warnings at the last page of the installer.

(catalog works, but admin does not, get 404 error)

Warning: fopen("/u/htdocs/xxxx/store/catalog/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php","w") - No such file or directory in /u/htdocs/w-n-jb/store/catalog/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_5.php on line 164

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /u/htdocs/xxxx/store/catalog/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_5.php on line 165

have I missed permission setttings somewhere or is there a snafu?

Using snapshot 20021217, and uploaded compressed files to server, and x-ferred files to the dir of choice.(supposed to make all ascii files stay ascii without config'ing my ftp client.)

this install is for testing/mod purposes, but once I've gotten a handle on things, I will be making it my primary store, replacing the P.O.S. I've got now...

'preciate any help!

Are you using 2.2??

Do the install again, and do not upload files in this way:

catalog/catalog/admin/....

that is a very bad move for the future.

Just upload them into single directories:

catalog/...

admin/...

If you use the correct paths in the install/ of the catalog you cant go wrong.

Just be sensible about how you upload your site.

Lok at the files, in the first catalog directory, why would you want to upload those???!!
