kHong Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I don't know if it's me or the installation or me, but this is the SIXTH time I have tried installing oscommerce on my account and everytime it screws up! Please help me people, I would be eternally grateful to anyone who helps me get my website up and running. I've spent near a week 24/7 trying to figure this out, calling technical support and mods from various forums. The problem as of right now is when I try to go to my http://mywebsite.com/shop/admin, I get the error, Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/lesocial/public_html/shop/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31. I looked at it and can't make anything from it.

Did you download the osc from here, unzip the file, then ftp the files to your webspace? Did you then create the database in phpmyadmin? Did you look at the pinned post at the start of the installation and configuration forum? Note: If install fails, delete the datbase and create a new one. Delete the files on the web and start from scratch. Just trying to get an idea of how you are doing it.
