Adding cPath to shopping_cart.php address bar

I have been working on this for a while now.

When you click add to cart on the product info page the link says /product_info.php?cPath=24&product_id=145&action=add_product

so it is sending the cPath.

Shopping_cart.php gets all of the product information just fine and adds to the cart, but the top menu bar on my page is drawn from the 'cPath' value.

This is the only page I cannot figure out how to draw that value and add it to the address bar basically.

I am sure it is just a simple php code function but I am moderately experienced in this and cannot figure it out.

Which lines do i need to modify / add and to which files?
