Customer Data Not Clearing

Has anyone ran into a problem where when someone starts a cart and then creates an account and goes through checkout fine, then someone else does the same, the previous customers info goes in to the order for the second? I am unsure where to start looking for this problem. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

It appears that even after placing an order someone appears to remain online long after they are probably still on the site. It might be causing the system to think that the next person going there is the same person. Any Ideas?
