Petercory Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I did a new install of OS commerce and have a weird issue popping up with the Categories Box The broken one is here: http://www.cormarcompany.com/index.php the working on here: http://www.cormarcompany.com/products/index.php On the broken one it seems to point to someone else's store on the same shared server as me... anyone know why that would be happening?
Guest Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 most likely you have not changed any of the parameters in the configuration to point to /home/yourdir/tmp (where you create the tmp dir) and not /tmp which is the whole server tmp directory. your host does not know how it is supposed to work, and is most likely someone who has an oscommerce site and wants to have the shared server paid for by reselling.

I did not know anything about that, think the last install I did was through the hosting company but they did not have the most up to date OSc install on there and I wanted to upgrade. Thank you for the help!
