Send XML from admin/orders.php?page=1

I looking for a way to add a simple button that sends an XML file to a server (fulfillment house). The button would be placed on admin/orders.php?page=1 which is the page that displays the customer's order in detail. I know how to get the data to send to the XML file (SQL query) but I don't know how to 1. set up the button 2. create the file 3. add the XML data to the file 4. send the file.

 

I don't need anything too extravagant - just something that works.

 

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great!
