Evil Rob Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 I have had a problem for a few months now with my OS Commerce install and I have now had to take drastic action to get my web site back and running again, as it is now costing me money it not working properly. I have a Lycos one click site that has worked 100% for a couple of years now. If I delete OS Commerce from the Lycos control panel and then install it again from the same control panel, do you think the MYSQL data base will stay untouched and just let the shop reload it, so I can get my admin control panel back working. I have also managed to download my SQL data base and images folder in case it all goes Pete Tong and they get deleted. Can I just upload them back to their directories and everything will be as normal if it does go wrong and delete the SQL files too. I did have a good search on this and could not find anything regarding re-installs using one click self install sites.
