PayPal IPN doesn't auto switch to Delivered after payment received

Please help!

 

I'm using PayPal IPN v2.3.3.

 

OSC 2.2RC2

 

I sell downloadable software.

 

Problem is this:

 

Customer places order.

Order Status changes to: Preparing [Pay Pal IPN]

I receive money from PayPal.

 

So far all is perfect.

 

However, customer's status does not automatically change to "Delivered".

 

So the customer has paid their money, but they don't get an email acknowledgment and they can't download their software.

 

I have to manually change the status on the order to "Delivered".

 

Any ideas?

it's because they don't return to the shop after paying, same happens to shops that sell items, by "not reducing stock" and not sending out order confirmation.
