philkey Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Hi All It would be greatly appreciated if you could please point me in the right direction :) 1. Say I receive CSV files from my suppliers for the products I plan to sell. Each supplier gives me their CSV file but with different fields/headers. What I would like to find is a module which allows me to upload any CSV file, and then be able to select which field/header in the CSV file corresponds to which osCommerce field in my shop. (I would then save that 'template' so I would not have to select corresponding fields in future.) The closest thing I've found is Easy Populate, but it expects a certain CSV format. Is it easier to have a script written to convert each supplier's CSV to the Easy Populate format? How would I go about doing this and is there any way I can hook that up directly to the osCommerce admin? 2. Say if I have multiple suppliers who supply the same product - but I only want to display that product once. Is there a module which has the logic to firstly pick the supplier who has stock and then pick the supplier who offers the lowest price for that product? Many thanks in advance :)
