tapuahk Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Hello i'M LOOKING FOR THE BEST POINT OF SALE FOR OSCOMMERCE THANKS I haven't found one yet, I'm still using PHP POS, if you stoop low enough to use it be forewarned 1. all items must have a tax class associated with them or they won't show up in POS 2. you can't change inventory levels through POS, must be done in shop admin 3. No refund option 4. No price override option 5. Clerks can sell a negative number of item and pocket cash (CHECK SALES DAILY) If those aren't reason enough for you to keep looking, it is FREE and works otherwise.
Guest Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 thanks also, how does it handle the cash drawer (auomatic opening, manual, briven by printer...)??
Avec Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I think you are trying to fit a square peg. I recommend using something like QuickBooks POS and then integrate the web sales portion into QB.
Guest Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 OK THANKS BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT DB IS NOT UPDATED ON REAL time, alsoit does not handle attributtes so well.. whitout mention handle inventory.
