STOP SHOUTING!

Oscommerce is a free software given without any guarantee of support.

Support and help given in this forum is given for free and on a voluntary basis out of peoples kind hearts.

And by the way, before asking and complaining do a forum search to find solutions.

Kudos! If you cannot find your answer in the forum, you might try google. It's a wonderful thing! Good luck.

I'm new, but I think you have it all wrong.

If you install PayPal buttons, the osc store serves no purpose; at the very least, there would be two separate accountings, one for osc, where you'd find incomplete orders, and another at Paypal.

If you have the latest RC2 version of osc, install the Paypal payment module which you'll find in administration. This module requieres information from your PayPal account, which you'll also need to setup in order to deliver the required module data.

Good luck!

BTW, I'm also finding it hard to find information, which when found, is all scattered around and disorganized. I have the feeling that a wiki for osc would be very helpful. Anyone care to start one?

There are a lot of threads here that provide a lot of information but, as you rightly recognize, they are not easy to find. However, if you go to google and search on

site:www.oscommerce.com/forums your search phase

there will generally be many posts that answer your question.
