please offer lots of advice i am struggling to get this user friendly.

* Put the list of products above your company introduction and put that introduction on the "About Us" page. Your should give your customers the idea of what you sell by showing them, not explaining it to them.

 

* Have someone redo your logo in a graphics program that supports anti-aliasing. It's also too tall for the template you're using. It should be the same height as your 5 menu buttons.

 

* On your information pages, utilize the formatting buttons in the WYSIWYG editor. The text on those pages are huge blobs of nothing that no one will bother reading.

 

* You have no SSL certificate, so no one is going to buy anything from you. Your Privacy Policy states that you use one, which doesn't make your store seem very trustworthy. What's worse is that if you type in: https://www.urbanegos-store.com, it asks me if I want to accept the certificate for www.snakeoil.dom. That's worse than having nothing at all.

Saw a lot of £0.00 on the new products. It would be better to install a hide the price if zero contribution.

Conditions of Use is empty, but should be filled before asking for help.

 

Privacy Notice: fix "donot collect order or any other personla". I should be able to opt out from "As a valued customer we will use e-mail from time to time to notify you of specials and closeouts".

 

Shipping & Returns: fix "this means that we donot ship above "

 

I love to misread things. When I read on Secure Shopping "...all transactions are proccessed through a safe and secure system whereby even we dont get to see your card details! Now that is SAFE SHOPPING online". It immediately implied to me you are really saying that "SAFE SHOPPING online" is when YOU "dont get to see ... card details". Just the way the ending is worded makes me think you are the one from whom we need to fear. :lol:

 

It would be nice if on the category listing pages that you could add some of the description to the listings.

Your header takes up far too much valuable vertical space. Static table pic is boring, a slide shoe there might give a more complete first impression of what you sell.

Fix your product images - man they are hard on the eyes as not only do they present jaggies, but they are also not proportionally correct. Another product image oriented issue is that when I click on a product image to enlarge it on the product info page, I expect to see a larger image than the one I am viewing popup. The lightbox is nice, but it doesn't help when your popup/enlarged image is only 100x100 pixels - That would be called an ICON.
