Mail not sent

Hi all,

 

After a lot of searching I am not able to figure out that after the checkout confirmation the customer is not receiving mail from oscommerce.

 

I have tried by every means I could. The tep_mail function is not sending mails, and the mail function of PHP is giving an error on sending the email that "cannot modify headers" something like that...
