moving the search box from below the categories on the left to above

Hi there

 

i am wanting to move the 'quick find' search box that appears on the left below the categories to above the categories so that it is more visible.

 

However i'd appreciate help in knowing which file i have to adjust and which coding as i not only want it to appear above the categories in the left column but ideally i would like it to function without returning any errors!! :rolleyes:

 

the other quick question i have is that i have successfully colour coded backgrounds, heading boxes etc via the stylesheet etc, however i can't seem to find where to change the colour of the heading boxes that appear when you click on other pages and categories ie: the heading box that says 'product name, price and buy now'
