SSL in single directory? [Plesk]

Hi all,

I have Plesk installed on the server where my shop is. Having just installed my SSL Cert, I realise that I have two options when it comes to hosting my secure items. I can have all secure and non secure items in the same folder (httpdocs) OR have 1 folder each for secure and non secure (httpdocs + httpSdocs).

Normally I would not think about it and put all files in 1 folder but "Use a single directory for housing SSL and non-SSL content" is unchecked by default, thus suggesting that it is better to have 2 folders.

What do you think is best and WHY?
