Guest Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Hey! Im a newbie also and yes, it is very easy to get frustrated. However, the best advice I can give is read, read, read the tips and instructions given and educate yourself as much as possible. I have managed to change lots of things by simply reading here in the forums and asking questions (putting my logo instead of OSCommerce's, change background colors, etc.). I am stuck on two simple problems right now (download link to digital goods and getting rid of the default pictures/images). After they are resolved, I will be up and running! So, dont give up. I still remain hopeful! Good luck, Michelle

suegal Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 yes on msn messenger I have added you in my contact list in hotmail, I won't be able to IM though until Saturday or Sunday, maybe I'll catch you then. for now just a quck question, I am working through filezilla with the store online (it is nowhere near ready) I would rather work on it offline until it is ready, but I am not sure how to take it offline, thanks

You should consider using wamp or xamp to create a development server on your pc, install osc into it and play all you want.
