kdogg Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I have some products that have just come back into stock after months of being out of stock and I would like to draw attention to them by moving them back to my main pages new products for the month section. I know I can simply delete them and re-add them but then I loose things like the customers who bought this also bought:, or linked reviews. I would know to know what part of the database controls this so I can edit it to dump old products back to the front so to speak. Thank you.
web-project Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 by installing the different contribution - "featured on index page" where you can select the products to be displayed on index page Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
knifeman Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I eventually installed the featured products mod, but early on I just went into the products table and altered the 'date entered' field for the item I wanted back on the front page.
