Digitoro Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I had to restore my folder /public/html/ to a previous date, and just yesterday I uploaded over 100 products, so of course whent he restore happened- I believe it lost its connection. when i am in admin- and go the specfic category so I can add/modify i get this: Categories / Products 2006 - MySQL server has gone away select products_name from products_description where products_id = '120' and language_id = '1' [TEP STOP] 2006 - MySQL server has gone away select count(*) as total from sessions where sesskey = '3b924981df1ec965fec09eb23abe795f' [TEP STOP] Warning: Unknown: A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in Unknown on line 0 How can this be fixed? desperate
dmnalven Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 The first thing to try is to close your admin connection, delete your cookies and browser cache and try connecting again. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
Digitoro Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 The first thing to try is to close your admin connection, delete your cookies and browser cache and try connecting again. I did on one computer- and now I am on another, same problem. I think maybe I need to somehow edit one of the files so it knows where to be directed, get me? The restore was from a previous state (Sat) and I did the image uploads 2 days ago (Tuesday).
dmnalven Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 If your osC install is on a WAMP server, I'm afraid that I can not much further help you, other than to delete all the sessions from the database. This error message typically means that MySQL is running and has accepted your login credentials, but your connection has timed out.
