I sell pens and looking at the thumbnails it's hard to tell the difference between a Bic and a Sharpie. It would be great if you could just mouse over the image thumbnails in the product listing or search result page to see the full size image with out having to open each products info page.

I've been searching for a script or add-on that will allow at least a pop up image or better yet a mouse over image to get displayed from the thumbnails in the product listing page or search result page.

Right now you must click on a product and go to the product_info.php page and then click on the "Click to enlarge" link to see a pop up image. Then you close the window and have to click the back button.

If you are using or found a contribution that does this or something similar please link to it so I can review it.

Good news everyone,

I finally found a crontrib that made popup images from the categories, manufactures and advanced search result pages.

I edited it so the popups are generated from thumbnail image plus the new little enlarge icon. I'm hoping with a bit more tweaking I can make every thumbnail in the cart have a pop up image.

I used Enlarge Picture Button In Product List

I could not get version 2 to work. I did get version 1.2 by "aegrnberg" to work.
