How to modify default What's New Here? & Welcome text

Hi,

 

I am new to osCommerce and am struggling to find out where I can modify the top section of the welcome/home page. I want to make changes to the default text below:

 

What's New Here?

Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account?

 

Please help.

Hi,

 

I was able to replace the What's New text but cannot find how to replace the Welcome Guest!......

 

In the links there is a mention about the index.php and that it should be modified to replace the Welcome Guest text but I cannot find this text in index.php.

 

Please help.

You can find it in catalog\includes\languages\english.php:

 

define('TEXT_GREETING_PERSONAL', 'Welcome back <span class="greetUser">%s!</span> Would you like to see which <a href="%s"><u>new products</u></a> are available to purchase?');
define('TEXT_GREETING_PERSONAL_RELOGON', '<small>If you are not %s, please <a href="%s"><u>log yourself in</u></a> with your account information.</small>');
define('TEXT_GREETING_GUEST', 'Welcome <span class="greetUser">Guest!</span> Would you like to <a href="%s"><u>log yourself in</u></a>? Or would you prefer to <a href="%s"><u>create an account</u></a>?');

 

Modify what you want inbetween the two quotes ' ' .
