resizing of my logo

like many others i am new to oscommerce, but i'm ready able and willing to learn. i am trying to put in my own logo that i created with my sign software but for some reason when i put it in the oscommerce it comes out huge!!! the logo itself is only 3" x 1.5" but looks way bigger then that. any suggestions?

You need to resize the logo in your image editor. A common size if roughly 800 x 100 pixels. That should give you a good starting point at least. Don't resize with code in the shop though since that will hurt your load times.

i tried that but it makes the logo choppy looking. it did size it up not to badly but looks crappy. i'll try again.

oh say jack,

just wanted you to know that i was able to scale the logo size down some and i suppose it's not to bad. i can live with it. thanks again for your imput i appreciate it.
