Uploading of new contributions has been disabled due to maintenace work on the section occuring.

Yes, the much requested updated contribution section will be online soon :D

It will be mentioned on the pending weekly summary report once the updated section is online - for those that want to know as soon as possible you can "watch this thread" and be notified of activity in this thread.

The contributions are still accessible, only uploading new contributions has been disabled. It may take a day until the new section is online and until uploading can resume, as there are a lot of contributions to go through and sort into "packages" (595!).

This thread will be kept up to date on the progress made.

The new contributions section is just about ready - whats taking so long is the sorting of each file into "packages". The number mentioned is incorrect - the correct number of contributions to organize is 823 :!:

Although the new section is functional, it will remain offline until all current contributions have been organized to prevent broken links from being posted.

Hopefully it can go online before the weekend is over - as you can imagine the work involved is not fun to do :|

Is there anyway that we (the normal users) can help to sort packages?

I can tell you that a contribution by myself entitled "Paystamp" in the payment modules area, can be deleted forever as the site nad service has closed.

Actually, your (the communitys) job will start as soon as the new section is online, to help with the maintenance :D

A means of submiting notes will be made available to which site administrators can look into (for moving or deleting contributions).

This allows the site administrators to focus on the project and deal with maintenance issue when they arise.

The maintenance invovled would drive one person insane in a matter of days - with the work spread out, the road to insanity would stretch to a month :D

The new contributions section is now online!

The new section is still under maintenance, so be wary of posting links to packages as they might not exist in the future. This is especially so for packages that are, for example, at versions 1.4 that have yet to be placed in their master package set.

The contributions section has also moved from the Downloads area on the support site to the Community area.

It can be reached at:

Please email me if problems arise.
