Truly truly stuck with admin tools not working since move

Hi there

 

i think i may have truly messed up. I've managed to move my store from /catalog to the root directory however not without some loss of functionality.

 

Heres a list of just a few errors im getting at the mo:

 

When going to the 'database backup' tool i get:

 

"Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php."

 

When going to catalog in admin i get (yet the pics still show up on the site):

 

" Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES"

 

My installed modules have dissapeared from admin

 

in cache control i get:

 

"Categories Box File does not exist

Manufacturers Box File does not exist

Also Purchased Module File does not exist

"

 

In define language i get:

in file manager i get:

thanks for your response - i thought i had but perhaps not.

 

What are the required changes in full?

 

i've since noted that my ftp software is a bit hit or miss and may have failed to transfer a couple of files so i am starting again. So advise on the configure changes required would be great
