Moving my store 'up' a folder into the root directory

Hi there

 

I am needing to move my os commerce store up a folder into the main root directory to hopefully solve a number of issues with regards to redirections etc.

 

Whilst i know how to physically copy and move the documents on the server to the root directory i am completely lost as to any coding etc that i need to change within the store to ensure that all functionality remains, images display etc.

 

Ive read through a number of topics on here roughly relating to similar but they seem to mainly be made up of debate as to the best way to redirect etc rather than precise details onto which coding you need to change if you wish to move your store to the root directory.

 

I am just about to move everythng to the root directory so would greatly appreciate anyones help in giving me info on exactly which coding etc needs changing

You shouldn't need any redirection whenthe shop is in the root. Just setup the configure files properly.
