SEF & osc moving

Hello, I have installed an oscommerce on a testing server, I've customized it's theme, different plugins and SEF.

 

When I was done I installed a blank new installation of oscommerce on my live server and saved the configure.php files.

 

I moved my installation from the test server to the live server, imported the sql dump.

 

The design shows, the links are like http://www.cumparahaine.net/catalog/Imbrac...ike-Belgian-39/ (from there I see that SEF rewrites the links) but when i click a link i get

The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

 

I have checked file permissions of all the files SEF has, even more i compared the file permissions to those on my test server and still it does not work.

 

The test server is from a hosting company in US and the one here is from Romania. The US server has PHP Version 5.2.4 and the Romanian one PHP Version 5.2.5 on a 64bit server.

 

 

I have no idea why doesn't it work. I can't see if the other plugins work because the whole shebang must go through SEF.

 

 

Please give me some clues. What could I miss, register_global, some php plugins..... anything to start on, I'm trying to make it work since like yesterday and I going around in circles...
