"contents" border - need a new div

Hi,

 

I want to place a left and right border around the main contents area. I have taken a screen shot and will attach it to the post.

 

I'm thinking the best method is to create a new div and add some css for the border. Question is - where do I need to put the new div? Below the header IN the header.php - Above the footer in footer.php???

 

Any help would be great.

quite simple, you can look into the column_left.php and column_right.php in catalog/includes/

Yes.

Put the start of the DIV at the bottom of the header.php

Put the end /DIV at the top of footer.php
