sisteligent Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Everybody loves Oscommerce, that`s for sure. But everyone of us, wants something that oscommerce will never have: Products sort options. Please, read this carefuly: By sort options, i mean real sort options, where we can sort products by age, by manufacturer, by gender, by theme, by "hero", by "anything". And yes, where we can sort by both age and manufacturer, or by age, gender and theme - all together. Let`s say we want to see only products from manufacturer: X , gender: male, and theme: Fantastic Four...how do you do this in Oscommerce? - You don`t, you can`t. A best example is toysrus(dot)com, where you can sort products by different 'sort options' and where when you click Mattel manufacturer, you will see every other sort options just from Mattel. That is fantastic, and that is the main piece that`s missing from Oscommerce. Do you miss this 'sort option'? If yes, please leave a reply, and make this post sticky, and maybe this way, someone from Oscommerce team will take care. From what i`ve read it`s a really easy thing to do. Sorry for my english!
