Clicking on categories doesnt lead anywhere only subcategories lead somewhere

It could be the person who designed your template messed it up. It should show the names of the subcategories or the images you've put in for the individual subcategories. Have you tried to add a subcategory image and see if it shows up anywhere in your tempalte?

It shows the images in the subcategory. But if you just click the main category and not one of the subcategory ones, than you see a blank screen. Go to http://www.ddwatches.com and you will see what I'm talking about when you click a category on the left. You will get a blank screen. However, under that category you have it divided into Men's and Women's and if you click one of those subcategories, then it will work just fine.

thanks but all my entries are numbers I definitely think its something in that code because I tried messing around with it and I got some items showing when I click category but it just shows the wrong ones.

I have discovered more information messing around with the code for a little while. it seems that the system thinks that there are no products in the category. I changed the product listing code to forcibly show the thing above products to try and find where it stops working and it shows this for all the of parent level categories:

Displaying 0 to 0 (of 0 products) Result Pages: -4 -3 -2 -1 0

could it be a problem with my split page results? or is it that when it asks the database for information its in the wrong syntax for 50 but not for 50_52
