bowtietuner Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I have a copy of oscommerce that is already customized much the way I like but I have already installed the version provided by my hosting company. So I was wondering what file from the customized copy I have to switch for the ones in the installed version or is this not possible.
usernamenone Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Did you do the customization yourself? If you did then you upload those and over write stock osc. If you did not and it is a Template Monster Template then you will have a heck of a time because they use outdated code and they move stock code around.................. Do a file compare to see what has been changed.

Thanks It is not a template monster template but it is a premade template so I think it may be difficult to use I am not sure what to compare I dont realy know what files actually change the look of oscommerce.
usernamenone Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Generaly the files just inside your catalog and then in includes>header.php and footer.php then includes>modules>new_products.php, product_listing.php
