Button Size Problems

I have changed my buttons to custom made ones with success... mostly. For some reason some of the buttons are displaying too small. (Add address, Change address, and some of the back and continue buttons.)

For instance, the "continue" is small in the account login page, but normal in all the information pages.

Just as a side note, you need to take a look at your config files as you have 2 // in your url:

the html for your login page is specifying the image as width="100" and height="22" whereas on other pages it is width="142" and height="38".

take a look at your login.php on or about line 162 for the following:

tep_image_button('button_continue.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_CONTINUE)

if it has a third parameter to that function call it's probably specifying the size of the image to display - just remove it, or change it to the same size as the other pages.

No luck. I compared the code for the continue button in login.php (where the button appears small) to the code in shipping.php (where the button appears normal), and there doesn't seem to be any difference in that line of code that would make the size be different.

As for the double//, I changed it in the configure.php, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. I know that the page appers if you type it with a single/, but as soon as you go to any link it has the double// again. Is there another place I would need to fix it. Is it really a big Deal?

Any suggestions would be great!

okay, then maybe try specifying the size of the image in the login.php. try this:

tep_image_button('button_continue.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_CONTINUE, 'width="142" height="38"')

What Dave said in his first post is still true.

For whatever reason, your code is still specifying different image sizes for the button.

It must have something to do with the SSL certificate error when accessing the login page.

If you go to the page without SSL:

Click Me

The button size is OK.

If you go to the page using the link (which generates a "non secure items" warning):

Click Me

It's the wrong size.

Do you have two folders for files, one for "non secure" pages and one for "secure" pages?

Then let's get rid of the "non secure items" error when accessing SSL and go from there.

So I tried to save the text as testxyz.php

and a message pops up that sais that it is an invalid file name.???

Also, when you say save it in my sites (B)/catalog folder, is that my normal catalog (ie: jennifersbridal/boutique/catalog) if not, please tell me how to get there....I'm a bit of an illiterate :-" .

When I try to access it with your SSL URL, it says "Page not found".

I think you must have a separate folder for SSL files, but just don't know about it.

That's the only thing that I can think of that would explain what's happening.

Is that something you could ask your Web host about?
